Also featured are displays from the Ute Mountain Ute, Pueblo, and Navajo tribes. Traveling exhibits and local artists' work is featured in the art gallery. A mural on the back of the building depicts a traditional pueblo.
During the summer Native American Dances are held on the plaza Monday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Storytellers, artists, and historians speak about American Indian cultures at 8:30 p.m. following the dances. Lectures, slide shows, and music programs are offered September through May.
